On the opening of the new SHUPL (Shanghai University of Political Science and Law) semester, September 2016 was preceded with the visit of the University leaders: Chancellor professor and PhD. Mr. YANG JUNYI , President professor and PhD. Mrs. LIU XIAOHONG, Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President Mrs. ZHOU YIN’E, Vice-President professor and PhD. Mrs. HU JILING, Vice-President professor and PhD. Mr. PAN MUTIAN.
The university leaders were warmly welcome at their arrival to the international students home by the administrators in charge of the international students at SHUPL. Chancellor professor and PhD. Mr. YANG JUNYI , President professor and PhD. Mrs. LIU XIAOHONG were very happy to see the flags of various countries representing the international students at the entrance of the building. This was a great sign of love and unity among the international students. I could see bright smiles from their faces followed by handshakes and some pictures being taken. The dean of the international students office gave a brief speech thanking the school’s leaders for taking some time out of their busy schedule to honor their invitation.
The university leaders were then ushered into the international students apartment by our administrators in charge of the international students affairs, who were greatly happy to see the team of volunteers patiently waiting for our arrival. Mr. YANG JUNYI and the presidents were very pleased as they walked inside the dormitory as they realized the sanitary condition of the dormitory was very good and all repairs were made for the start of the new semester. The leaders were also impressed with the new innovations made by the administrators in charge of the international students affairs like the provision of a new dormitory to the international students, the provision of a recreation center in the international students building where international students can come together for a meeting or even have a party. At the end, the shupl presidents greatly appreciated the work being done by the administrators and the volunteer team to prepare for us international students for our successful start of the new semester.
