Objectives

Well-rooted on the discipline advantage of law subjects of our school, Institute for the Security Studies of the Belt and Road(ISSBR), Shanghai Institute for Global Security and Governance and China National Institute for SCO International Exchange and Judicial Cooperation (CISCO), International Politics is an application-oriented, comprehensive major that aims to arm students with both rich law-related background knowledge and solid foundation in International Politics.

二.Postgraduate Programs of International Politics and International Rule of Law

Objectives

This program focuses on training high quality and compound application talents who can understand and be familiar with the basic theories of international politics, have broad expertise in international politics, have an in-depth understanding and research on the social, political and economic situation of major countries and regions in the world, be able to make scientific analysis of global and regional issues, and the differences between countries by using the research methods of the major, have the research ability in this field and working skills involving foreign affairs, have a good command of Chinese, can read professional Chinese materials, keep abreast of the latest developments in the subject.
