I worked in the Groupe Auchan when I was in France. I have been obsessed with Chinese culture for many years, so I decided to take a year to learn Chinese. In 2016 of May, I found the SHUPL on the Internet and then applied for learning Chinese, and soon I got a reply from the teacher. In August, I received the acceptance letter. I arrived in Shanghai in September 7^th, and I couldn't wait to come to school that day. The teachers of the SHUPL gave me a very warm reception, which let me feel into the collective immediately and as if to return home.

I feel very happy to come to China, come to Shanghai, come to SHUPL. My dream and goal are speaking fluent Chinese, working and living in china in the future.

Everyone has a measure of university choice. Although my country is still thousands of miles away territory, but I think the University of the family to bring us a sense of belonging is an important factor affecting my choice of university. Hi, I'm Nan Yinying from Korea. I've been living here for a month. Although I have learned Chinese in Korea, I still feel that my Chinese is poor. When I was looking for a school that can communicate with Chinese to improve my level of Chinese, I found SHUPL. I worried about whether I can do a good job and communicate with friends before I came. It's been a month since I came to China, and I really think I made a right decision. I'm getting closer to my friends of various countries, especially to make a lot of Chinese friends, and my Chinese has improved a lot. At the same time, the school also gave me a lot of care. I really appreciate everybody’s kind and friendly care. In SHUPL, I go to the library to study with my friends and ride a bike back to the bedroom at night every day. I travel in Shanghai every weekend. I believe that after returning to Korea, the days in SHUPL will be my good memories. And I will love China more.

I'm Yunhai from Argentina. The reasons that I chose SHUPL are that I am very interested in international politics and international relations, and SHUPL is the best university to study it. I think SHUPL is a very beautiful school. The school is not only in Shanghai, the capital of fashion, but also the campus environment and air is particularly good. The weather was great in SHUPL. I also like that there are so many rivers and trees in SHUPL, just like my hometown. So I chose to complete my undergraduate study SHUPL.

I'm Nini from Georgia. This year I won a scholarship from the Chinese government and got a chance to study in SHUPL. It is SHUPL that changes my life and makes my life better. In SHUPL, I learned how to be stronger and more independent. I make and know friends from different countries. They are very closeto me, and I am sure that this friendship will continue in thefuture. This is not only the friendship between the students, but also the friendship between our countries. Although this is the first time I go abroad, here I also feel like I'm in a warm family. Although I miss my country very much, the SHUPL’s beautiful and friendly environment makes me feel very cordial. Came here, I am convinced that love is regardless of national boundaries. The teachers and students of SHUPL are doing their best to help us. I am very happy to be here. Although my Chinese is not good, I hope that after learning here my Chinese level can be improved. I particularly like the campus environment, where I can often go for a walk or do exercise to relax myself. Of course, I am also grateful to the school to provide the opportunities to travel around Shanghai, which will help me understand China better, as well as their ancient unique cultural customs and traditions.

I major in Chinese language and literature, whose professional requirements of the Chinese language level is higher than the general Chinese language courses. So I often meet a lot of problems. For example, there are some articles that need to be combined with Chinese culture and folklore to understand. Whenever I meet something can’t understand, I will ask my teacher to help me, the teacher always tirelessly teach me. When I meet something can’t understand after school, I will also ask my friendly Chinese friends, who also provide a great help to my study of Chinese language and literature. I hope my study method is helpful for your study.

My name is NARGIZAMOLDALIEVA. I have always thought that China is beautiful because of Chinese. In order to improve the quality of the individual and the level of Chinese as well as  to broaden my horizons, I chose to study in SHUPL. Now is the last year of my Ph.D., and I would like to write my graduation thesis for graduation with excellent academic achievement. After graduation, I’m determined to be a communicator of Chinese culture and to do my best to contribute to the friendship between the two peoples and to promote cultural exchanges between the two countries further.
