On the evening of September 29th, the Poetic Sentiment 'Mid-Autumn Festival' Chinese Corner hosted by the School of International Communication and Exchange was held at Yegu and Yiban offline experience center. The faculty of the School of International Communication and Exchange and the students of the International Union of Students planned the event to attract students from Russia, Spain, the More than 50 international students from Australia, Korea and Uzbekistan participated in the event.
At 6:30 pm, the Chinese Corner activity was officially opened. Anna, the host from Russia, explained the origin and cultural connotation of the Mid-Autumn Festival to the audience and led them to participate in traditional Chinese games. The audience had a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the Mid-Autumn Festival. Afterwards, the hosts led the audience to learn to sing Wish Man Long Live, which not only conducted Chinese teaching, but also let the international students experience the importance of the Chinese language. The Chinese music was beautiful. Next, the activity entered into the climax, international students were led by the host to learn and make mooncakes on the spot. At the end of the activity, they shared the moon cakes they made with each other. Very interesting knowledge of traditional Chinese culture, enriching campus life and laying a solid foundation for learning Chinese well. The Chinese Corner aims to provide a platform for international students to learn Chinese and learn about Chinese culture.
