On the afternoon of October 17, Silk Road Lecture Series: Approaching Laos was held in Room 209 of the Yongfu Building by international students from Laos.


At the beginning of the lecture, Alai gave an overview of Laos, introducing not only its geographical location, national flag and currency, but also the development history of the country, which attracted the strong interest of the international students.


  

 

After that, Alai gave an overview of Laos in terms of climate and geography, history and religion, tourism and festivals, economy and architecture and other topics. The lecture gave a detailed introduction of Laos in terms of geography and gave everyone a lively and interesting lecture. The lecture was well illustrated, clearly organized and full of contents, which enabled the international students to have a deeper understanding of the people and landscapes of Laos.


During the lecture, the international students listened attentively to Alai's explanation and interacted with him from time to time, which was a rich and diversified activity. At the end of the lecture, the students left the classroom with a feeling that they had benefited a lot from the activity.
