In the afternoon of November 7, in Room 209 of the Yongfu Building, a new Silk Road Lecture was held, with Jessica, an international student from Indonesia, as the speaker.

When we talk about Indonesia, many people will think of Bali. However, is Indonesia the same as Bali? Jessica led the class from Bali to introduce her country. Indonesia is truly the Land of 10,000 Islands, when the students heard Jessica introduce her country of 17,508 islands. All of the islands were taken aback. With so many islands, each one naturally has a diversity of peoples and costumes, unique cuisine and beauty, Jessica had it all. The students were also impressed by the introduction.

After enjoying the natural beauty of Indonesia, Jessica introduced us to the culture and society of Indonesia. Firstly, Jessica introduced us to the presidents of Indonesia and the historical links between Indonesia and China. An important part of this is the Silk Road, which has flourished throughout history and is now a global hotspot. The Silk Road is not only the transmission of goods, but also culture and national spirit. Towards the end of the show, Jessica shared a small gift she had brought with her.
