On July 11, the opening ceremony of the International Chinese Language Teachers' Course, hosted by the Beijing Language and Culture University's Institute of Teacher Education, was held at the Beijing Language and Culture University's teaching building. Chen Ruofan, Dean of Beijing Language and Culture University's Institute of Teacher Education, and 24 teachers and international student administrators selected by our university attended the opening ceremony.
At the opening ceremony, Dean Chen expressed his warm welcome and greetings to the participants on behalf of the Institute of Teacher Education, and said that the Institute would do its best to make the teachers' training time at BLCU enriching and enjoyable. She also gave a detailed presentation on the relevant training courses and considerations.
Chu Defeng, deputy dean of the School of Continuing Education of our school, spoke on behalf of all participating teachers. He thanked Beijing Language and Culture University for the Chinese language training opportunities provided by our school for foreign language teachers, and thanked the Teachers College for their careful preparation for training and practical courses. At the same time, he also hope that the participating teachers in our school can cherish the learning opportunities and strive to improve the ability and level of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
During the ten-day training process, the Teacher Training College opened a series of courses on the theory and practice of international Chinese teaching skills for teachers of our school-phonetics, spoken language, listening, speaking, vocabulary, grammar, etc. After passing the assessment, the trainee teacher will obtain an intermediate certificate of international Chinese teachers.
This is the third international Chinese language teacher training course entrusted by our school to Beiyu. Due to the reasonable structure of the courses provided by the Teacher Training College, the strong teaching staff, and the outstanding quality of the training, it has been praised by the students in the first two years. In the future, our school will continue to hold a series of training courses in international Chinese language teaching, cultivate more talents for the international school, and further improve our school's level of international Chinese language teaching.
