On the morning of January 9, the signing ceremony of the contract between the School of International Communication and Exchange and the Shanghai Normal University Institute of Chinese as a Foreign Language Teaching Practice Base was held in the conference room of the Shanghai Normal University Institute of Chinese as a Foreign Language. Professor Ouyang Mehe, President of the School of International Communication and Exchange, Secretary of the Party General Branch, Wei Chuancheng, Deputy Secretary of the General Branch and related teachers of the College attended the ceremony. Prof. Cao Xiu-ling, President and Prof. Xia Guang-xing, Vice President of School of Chinese as a Foreign Language, Shanghai Normal University, warmly received Ouyang-mei and his party.
Cao Xiuling first welcomed the arrival of Ouyang Meihe and his party, and introduced the basic situation of Chinese Academy for Foreigners and the achievements in international Chinese teaching. It is hoped that the two sides will strengthen the contact in the construction of the internship base in the future, continuously enrich the form and broaden the cooperation field, so as to adapt to the needs of society, effectively improve the practical ability of students, and realize the triangular development and win-win situation for both institutions and students.
Ouyang Mehe introduced the development history, discipline construction, international student training and the construction of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Base. He hoped that through the cooperation between the two sides, the two sides will play a greater role in improving the quality of Chinese language teaching for international students, developing students' horizons, promoting Chinese language teaching seminars and improving the level of international school operation.
Afterwards, Ouyang Meihe and Cao Xiuling signed an agreement to build an internship base for teaching Chinese as a foreign language on behalf of the two partners respectively. After the signing ceremony, the two sides made further exchanges on talent cultivation, the characteristic arrangement of the internship base, scientific research cooperation and other related issues.
