Types of Common Visa and Residence Certificate
A. X1 word visa
The X1 word visa is issued to apply for long-term study in china.X1 visa holders after entry, the visa is valid for 30 days.Holders must go to the foreign student office to apply for residence documents within 30 days after entry,and the visa can not be changed to any other type.Before applying for residence certificate,students also need to provide the health certificate issued by the Beijing entry exit inspection and quarantine department.
B. X2 word visa
The X2 word visa is issued to apply for short-term study in China.The validity period of the X2 word visa will be marked on the visa page, the number of days from the date of entry.If in August 25th the valid period of 90 days of X2 visa entry, the longest can stay until November 23rd of that year.
C. L word visa
The L word visa is issued to the immigration staff.Groups in the form of inbound tourism, you can issue a group L word visa.
D. S1 word and S2 word visa
The S1 word visa is issued to apply for a long-term visit to China for work, study the subject of foreigners residing in China's spouse, parents, children under the age of 18 years, the spouse's parents, and other personal affairs need to reside in China personnel;The S2 word visa is issued to apply for entry to visit relatives in the short term due to work, study and other reasons to stay in the Chinese territory of the family members of foreigners, as well as other private matters need to stay in China.
E. Z word visa
The Z word visa, is issued to apply for personnel working in China.
F. Residence Certificate
Learning period in China for more than 180 days of students need to apply for residence certificates.The valid period marked on residence documents,and students can be in residence documents within the validity period of multiple entry and exit.
