中国政府奖学金中美人文交流专项奖学金项目招生简章

Sino-U.S. Cultural Exchange Scholarship sponsored by Chinese Government

根据中国教育部文件通知，委托我校承担2017-2018年度中国政府奖学金中美人文交流专项学历生奖学金项目，现特发布该项目招生报名通知。

According to China’s Ministry of education, our university is entrusted to undertake the enrollment of 2017-2018 Sino-U.S. Cultural Exchanges Scholarship sponsored by Chinese Government, hereby the concerning enrollment notice.

1. 招生项目及条件

Program and application requirements

（一）项目名称

A. name of the program

2017-2018年度自主招生中国政府奖学金中美人文交流专项学历生奖学金

2017-2018 special enrollment for Sino-U.S. Cultural Exchange Scholarship sponsored by Chinese Government

2. 报名条件

B. Application requirements

1.   择优招收美国籍全日制硕士生、本科生。

(i) Preferential enrollment for U.S. full-time undergraduates and postgraduates.

2.   招生项目请见附录

(ii) Please find program in appendix.

3. 年龄要求：

a.本科申请者：18岁-30岁。

b.硕士申请者：18岁-45岁。

(iii) Age Requirement:

a. Undergraduate applicants: Aged between 18 to 30 years.

b. Postgraduates applicants: Aged between 18 to 45 years.

4. 学历要求:

a. 本科申请者：高中以上毕业，并且成绩优秀.

b. 硕士申请者：本科以上毕业.

(iv) Degree Requirement:

a. Undergraduate applicants: A High School degree or above and good GPA.

b. Postgraduates applicants: A Bachelor’s degree or above.

二、奖学金内容及标准：

Content and Criteria of Scholarship

1.奖学金为全额奖学金，内容包括：学费、住宿费、综合医疗保险、基本生活费。

Full scholarship includes tuition fee, accommodation, medical insurance and monthly living allowance.

2. 奖学金生生活费按月发放，本科标准为2500人民币/人/月、硕士标准为3000元人民币/人/月。

Living allowance is granted to the scholarship students monthly,2500 RMB for bachelor’s candidates, 3000 RMB for master’s candidates.

三、申请所需文件：

Application Documents of International Students

（一）必须提供的材料

Required Documents

1. 护照，有效期须12个月以上。

The passport must be valid for at least 12 months.

2. 毕业证、学位证和成绩单。

Highest diploma and academic transcripts.

3. 《外国人体格检查表》

Foreigner Physical Examination Form

4. 入学申请表和信息表

Application Form and Information Form.

（二）辅助材料

Supporting Documents

1. 语言水平证明

Language proficiency certificates.

2.若毕业证或成绩单不是汉语或英语的，需提供经过认证的汉语或英语翻译件。

Highest diploma and transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.

3.申请研究生专业的，需提供学习计划（至少1000字），用英文或汉语书写。

A Research Proposal or Study Plan in China (at least 1000 words).

4.申请研究生专业的，需提供两封推荐信，推荐人需具有教授或副教授职称。

Applicants for Master/Doctoral programs must submit two Recommendation Letters written in Chinese or English and signed by professors or associate professors.

5.申请时毕业超过12个月的，需提供属地警察局出具的无犯罪记录证明。

A Non-Criminal Record from the residential police station will be required if applicants graduated for over 12 months by the time of applying.

6.其他证书或证明，如获得奖学金的证明、获奖证书、发表文章等。

Any certificate that will make the application strong,like the certificates of ever earned scholarships,awards and publications.

7.申请英文课程的,需提供相应的TOEFL或IELTS考试成绩或官方英语水平证明函。

Applicants for English Course must submit your score about TOEFL or IELTS or other official prove.

（三）在华学习或工作者需要补充或提供的材料

Foreign students or workers study or work in China need to provide extra supplement or document

1.居留许可复印件（必须包括居留许可有效期页）。

The scan of Residence Permit for foreigner in the people's Republic of China (Must including valid page of residence permit. )

2.在华学习者应提供所在学校留学生管理部门的在校学习证明或学籍证明。

Students studying in China should provide school certification or learn proven from the International students office.

3.在华工作者，报名时需提供受聘单位的预计解除工作合同函。

Workers in China should provide relieve employer contract should employed by company.

4.享受中国政府奖学金的在华留学生，如奖学金期满报读自费留学，需同时提供其驻华使馆同意的相关材料和文件。

The International student with Chinese government scholarship should provide relative materials or documents from the embassy in China, if he or she wants to study with self-support after their scholarship is due.

四、报名申请流程

Application Procedure

（一）请该项目申请人于4月1日前登录中国国家留学基金管理委员会来华留学网上报名信息平台（laihua.csc.edu.cn）进行网上报名。上海政法学院单位序列号为：11835。

Register and login CSC scholarship application online system(http://laihua.csc.edu.cn) before Apr,1^st ,fill in and submit the application form. After submission, please download and print application form.The number of SHUPL is 11835.

（二）请该项目申请人于4月1日前将以下纸质材料邮寄或直接递交至上海政法学院国际交流学院（留学生办公室）进行审核：

Please send the following documents by post or by personal delivery to School of International Communication and Exchange of Shanghai University of Political Science and Law before Apr,1^st .

1. 奖学金申请表（网上报名生成）；

Printed online Scholarship Application Form

2.   经公证的最高级教育的学历证明；

Notarized highest diploma (photocopy)

2.   毕业证书或学位证书的复印件和英文翻译件；

Photocopy of diploma or degree certificate and English translation

2.   《外国人体格检查记录》和血液检查报告原件（在本国检查）；

Original copy of Physical Examination Record for Foreigners and Blood Test Report (carried in your own country)

2.   本人确定的联系方式（中英文姓名，邮箱，电话号码），以纸质和电子版形式提交。

Identified contact information (both Chinese and English name, E-mail, and telephone number).All the documents shall be submitted in paper and electronic form.

五、录取

Admission

我校于4月15日前对所有报名申请该项目的学生的申请材料进行审核，确定录取名单，为被录取者制作《录取通知书》并办理“JW201表”。

Shanghai University of Political Science and Law(SHUPL) will review all applicants’ application documents by April 15^th , determine the admission list, produce "admission notice" and handle JW201 FORM.

于4月25日前将《录取通知书》、“JW201表”以及申请人提交的全部报名申请材料整理上报中国国家留学基金委审核，由基金委在“JW201表”上加盖公章后，与《录取通知书》一并返回我校。

Admission notice, JW201 FORM and all the application documents will be submitted to China Scholarship Council(CSC) for examination before Apr,25^th . JW201 FORM, with CSC official seal and admission notice will be sent back to SHUPL.

我校将“JW201表”与《录取通知书》原件寄送被录取学生本人，学生凭此二份文件在美国办理来华留学签证等相关手续。

SHUPL will send JW201 FORM and original copy of admission notice back to the admitted students, with which the admitted can prepare for the related procedures in U.S, such as Visa application for study in China.
